# Badges, credentials and roles

“Badges and credentials” shows the badges and credentials you have earned; they are honours, not entitlements. “My roles” shows only the operations roles you personally hold.

## Badges and credentials

- Badges and stars are honours, not entitlements: badges do not earn points, and stars do not unlock any feature.
- Credentials only attest your identity to others.

## My roles

- It shows only your own appointments, never anyone else's.
- Operations roles belong to a person, not to the organization you are in.
- With no role it says you have no role; if the roles cannot be read, the page says so instead of claiming you have none.
