# Sign-up and sign-in

Each region has its own member app, and accounts are registered separately. Sign-up needs a 6-digit invite code; after signing in you land in the store.

## Two regions, two member apps

The global region's member app is at app.myrilum.com and the China region's is at app.myrilum.cn. Identity and data are kept separate between the two regions and accounts do not carry over: register in the region where you will use the app.

## Register with an invite code

- Open the sign-up page, enter your email and the 6-digit invite code, and select “Verify and continue”.
- You then finish registering on a secure registration page and are brought back to the member app.
- If you open the sign-up page from an invite link, the code is filled in for you.
- The invite code only confirms admission and your one direct inviter; your email establishes your secure identity.

## Signing in

- Global region: opening the sign-in page takes you straight to the secure sign-in page.
- China region: enter your email on the sign-in page, select “Continue with email”, then finish signing in.
- Signing in does not need an invite code.
- After signing in you land in the store; after signing out, the sign-in page says you have signed out safely.

## If you get stuck

- After submitting, please wait and do not select the button again.
- Verification emails sometimes arrive late; check your spam folder and try again a little later.
- If you forget your password or want to use another sign-in method, follow the prompts on the secure sign-in page.
