# Service requests and quotes

In the China region twelve services accept requests: submit a request, receive a fixed quote and confirm it before ordering; Credits are reserved first and deducted only after acceptance. Other services show reference prices only.

## How it works

- Submit a request on the service page.
- We confirm the delivery scope, then give a fixed quote.
- Once you confirm the quote you place the order, and the Credits are reserved.
- After delivery you decide on acceptance; the Credits are deducted only when you accept.

## A reference price is not a quote

The Credits shown on a service page are a reference range, not a quote, and they never create an order on their own. Services without requests enabled show reference prices only.

## Statuses

| Request: quoted | The quote has been given. |
| Request: closed | The request has ended. |
| Quote: issued | The quote is valid and can be confirmed. |
| Quote: withdrawn | The quote was withdrawn and can no longer be used. |
