## Terms

| Field | Value |

| Compute Credits (Credits) | The units used to buy research reports and services. |
| Points | Units that record contribution, issued from contribution valuations; separate from Credits and not interchangeable. |
| Product and service directory | The website's non-transactional directory; it is not called the store. |
| Store | Where members buy inside the member app. |
| Service request | Your request for a service; we give a fixed quote based on it. |
| Fixed quote | A fixed price given after the scope is confirmed; you order only after confirming it. |
| Reservation | Credits held when you order and deducted only on completion or acceptance. |
| Acceptance | Your confirmation that a deliverable is acceptable; technical verification is not acceptance. |
| Region | The global and China regions are separate operating units, approved separately. |
| Candidate and production | A candidate is not production; states are written separately, and one green light never means everything is ready. |
