Research tiers and shelves
The research institute arranges reports in three tiers, macro, meso and micro, across 29 shelves; a shelf with no report shows only its name and coverage.
Three tiers
| Macro | The wider environment: politics, economy, society, technology, environment and law, following the six PESTEL shelves. |
|---|---|
| Meso | Industries: the twenty sections of China's national industry classification (GB/T 4754-2017). |
| Micro | Specific subjects: companies, products, and technologies and models. |
Numbering and series
- Reports are numbered R-tier-shelf-sequence, and each report belongs to exactly one shelf.
- A1–A8 are the eight layers of the AI industry stack; H1–H2 are cross-cutting lines that apply to every layer.

Reports not yet listed are real, planned titles: you can already read their titles, summaries and tables of contents.
